My son and I really enjoyed the fantastic tour Esteban guided us through! He guided us throughout how to get to the location, place to meet, time to start, so we make it without any delays just a day ahead! The hike with a clear view of active sloths, iguanas, turtles, birds, 100s years trees, amazing hidden cliffs, minister’s grave yards, the founders of the country— all has exceeded our expectations! We had a great recommendations as to the best hidden places for sunset 🌅, good food 🥘 to eat, etc. Esteban is very down to earth and really values and enjoys giving tours and knows all about it! I really enjoyed this tour. The guide Rob, spoke great English and had many fun facts about the plants and animals on the journey. The kayak tour was not too long and not short. I absolutely loved the tour. We saw lots of wildlife including sloths, spider monkeys, macaws and turtles. Esteban was very knowledgeable and passionate about the area and the wildlife. My boyfriend and I both agreed this was the best part of our trip. Esteban was super friendly and was able to show us tons of great wildlife (sloths, monkeys, turtles, iguanas etc, the most we saw in one place anywhere in CR) and gave us lots of tips on what to check out in Puerto Viejo. Esteban was very knowledgable, made us feel safe and comfortable on both the trail and kayaking, and was very attentive to nature pointing out several animals for us to see and learn about from him. Meeting location was very simple to find and we were greeting promptly by the host. There is parking available on the beach that we used without any concerns. Rob was a fantastic guide! He was fun and engaging and really loved to his share knowledge about the flora and fauna and some indigenous traditions. Entspannte Wanderung mit super Kajak Tour 🇨🇷🦥
Wir haben eine wirklich gelungene Tour mit Esteban genossen. Er hat uns richtig viel über die Tiere, Pflanzen, die Region im Bezug auf das ganze Land und vieles mehr erzählen können. Die kurze Wanderung ist sehr einfach und wirklich für jeden geeignet. Sloths, Up Close and Personal in the Beauty of Rainforest and Sea!
It's wonderful when you have a good tour guide, the amazing and interesting things you get to see and learn. It seemed impossible to find anything of interest so near to civilization, but we saw so many sloths, including a baby sloth, and beautiful view points of the ocean etc. Esteban paid attention to our safety making sure that we didn't slip on the steep path. When we were to go kayaking, the wind had picked up and the rain forest wasn't safe. Amazing tour!
I had a super fun kayak/walking tour given by Lynch. I had the english tour and he spoke english very well. There were no other people on my tour, so I had a private tour. We started with the kayak tour. We saw a lot of animals! He was good at pointing out the animals. I would have missed a lot of animals if I had gone on the tour like that. GREAT TOUR
Lynch was fantastic.! We went kayaking and looking for sloths. What I appreciated most is that while kayaking we had great conversations all while kayaking through the river slowly and quietly, so we could take in the nature.
