Punta Mona is definitely off the beaten path and for some the most beautiful beach in the country with an island in the distance and a big reef that protects the beach from the waves. If you’re up for a hike in the jungle this will never disappoint your expectations.

Tour description
If you're looking for a good day of hiking where very few people go. Even people that have lived here for years have never hiked on this trail. Starting our day at the entrance of the national reserve at Manzanillo a professional tour guide, expert at spotting animals in their natural habitat will take you on a exotic trail full of wildlife and plants, up and down the jungle to several different private remote beaches and viewpoints. Hike for around 3 hours before reaching Punta Mona where we will take a break, go for a swim and enjoy this remote Caribbean Beach. After enjoying the beach we will have a snack before we continue hiking along the beach to the town of Gondoca. At this unique small town only a few miles from the Panamanian border we will be picked up and taken back to your hotel.

Things to consider
You don't have to be very fit to accomplish this but it will get you tired by the end of the day. In most of the trail there's not going to be a section to quit so be prepared to finish. The jungle is not a zoo so we can’t guarantee we'll see wildlife. If you’d like to do some snorkeling ask for it to be included as an extra.
